BRUNO

BRUNO Pinot Blanc 2022

BRUNO Pinot Blanc 2022

BRUNO is the ideal introduction to the Karthäuserhof. Our BRUNO Riesling DRY sums up Mathieu Kauffmann's signature style and combines it with the typical Mosel terroir: slate and steep slopes. We do not fining, sedimentation is completely natural, only sulphur is added. The nose of our BRUNO Riesling DRY shows what will come on the palate. Completely classic with cool, light citrus fruit and plenty of spicy slate aromas, delicate but still with emphasis and sensational drinking flow. A fun wine that is equally enjoyable and enjoyable on its own or with food.

BRUNO and the label

BRUNO combines modern wine culture with the deeply rooted traditions of the Karthäuserhof. The label tells a special story: It shows the church window that was once given to Karl Wilhelm Rautenstrauch and Kathinka Mülhens as a wedding present and that still adorns one of our buildings today. In keeping with our Karthäuserhof line, the label is deliberately placed on the neck of the bottle - a placement that not only conveys elegance, but also refers to our rich history. Bruno thus brings tradition into the present.

Karthäuserhof Weinberg

locations of immeasurable value

What makes the Karthäuserhofberg so legendary

Our monopoly location, the Karthäuserhofberg, is considered one of the most traditional and fascinating vineyards in Germany. The steep southwest slope of the Karthäuserhofberg in the Ruwer Valley ensures optimal sunlight and a special microclimate. The mineral-rich slate soil gives the wines an unmistakable finesse and elegance that reflects the terroir of the Karthäuserhofberg. Wine has been grown here for over 1000 years. This long history and the accumulated knowledge shape every wine that is produced here. The combination of these two grape varieties in the special location in particular ensures wines of great complexity, freshness and longevity.
